Chang'e Flies to the Moon

Legend says that thousands of years ago there was a young, beautiful and capable girl named

jiào叫cháng嫦é娥，tā她shì是yì羿de的qī妻zǐ子。yì羿shì是yī一wèi位yǒng勇shì士，shè射jiàn箭bǎi百fā发bǎi百zhòng中，

…called Chang'e, the wife of Yi. Yi was a brave man whose arrows never missed,

céng曾jīng经shè射xià下le了tiān天shàng上de的jiǔ九gè个tài太yáng阳。

…once shot down nine of the suns in the sky.

Once, to rid the people of a scourge, Yi shot a beast that had wounded many common

Yi kept the elixir at home. One day Chang'e came home and suddenly
