The Little Horse Crosses the River

xiǎo小mǎ马yào要guò过hé河，kàn看jiàn见yī一tóu头lǎo老niú牛zài在hē喝shuǐ水

The little horse wanted to cross the river and saw an old ox drinking

xiǎo小mǎ马wèn问：“niú牛bó伯bo伯，wǒ我yào要guò过hé河，shuǐ水shēn深ma吗？”

The little horse asked, "Uncle Ox, I want to cross — is the water deep?"

lǎo老niú牛shuō说：“shuǐ水hěn很qiǎn浅，nǐ你guò过de得qù去。”

The old ox said, "The water is shallow, you can cross."

xiǎo小mǎ马tīng听le了lǎo老niú牛de的huà话，zhèng正yào要guò过hé河，tū突

The little horse listened to the old ox and was about to cross when suddenly

Once there was an old man who had ten sons. One

kuài筷zi子，jiào叫tā他men们bǎ把kuài筷zi子zhé折duàn断。hái孩zi子men们qīng轻qīng轻dì地

…chopstick and told them to break it. The sons broke them easily
